5 WAYS TO OVERCOME YOUR ADVERSITIES

Life is full of teachable lessons and masterable circumstances. Some of which you will either ACE, learn from, or fail. Whether you live under a rock, above, beneath, or on the earth’s surface,  you will encounter adversities. Be it financial instabilities, marital problems, social, mental, or psychological issues, poverty, the stress that comes with wealth, job-related problems, familial problems, time management, and Relationship dilemmas,  just to name a few. The truth is none of these challenges doesn’t come with a manual that helps you to acquire mastering skills, so you have to learn from the process.  Here are five tips to help you overcome your adversities: 

  1. POSITIVE MINDSET

The mind conceives lots of thoughts. What you think becomes your reality. If you think that you are a loser, you are before even competing.  Condition and train your mind to think positively. It begins with mental awareness. You can activate the practice of mindfulness, meditation, positive self-thinking, and self-thought. When you master the technique of acknowledging your thoughts and letting them pass, you can stop negative thoughts in their tracks and activate a new level of positive mindset. 

  1. DETERMINATION

When you are presented with a challenge you have the opportunity to either yield or learn from it. There is a thin line between persistence and surrendering. Determination pushes you one step ahead of learning and overcoming your challenges. Navigate through your challenges by asking for help when necessary, framing the right mindset to push through with tenacity and drive and not letting go despite the intensity of your adversities.     

  1. KNOW YOUR  TRIGGERS FOR YOUR ADVERSITIES DEVISE WORKABLE SOLUTIONS  

Knowledge is power, hence knowing the stimuli for your challenges can help you to eliminate the same in some cases. For instance, you have a serious time management problem that causes you to be late with deadlines and tardy for appointments and work. You can get to the bottom of this problem by budgeting, managing, and prioritizing your time by putting plans in place and making better decisions regarding time management.      

  1. SEEK HELP

I accept the fact that there are introverts out there who rather trod the lonely road of adversities. Hear me out,  you don’t have to bear it all alone. There are people in this world who genuinely care. The moment you feel like you are alone and that there is no hope for your adversities just top up your courage level and focus your attention on the outside of your reliance scope. There are people who are going through what you are experiencing. There are people who can help and who want to help.  There’s no need to feel ashamed for asking for help. Whether you choose to rely on a loved one, a mentor, or a friend, there are people who want to help you.  

  1. EXERCISE FAITH IN GOD

For every dismal encounter you face in life, faith is the grip that provides you with the assurance that hope is ahead. “For without faith, it is impossible to please God.” It is for this reason that most Christians stay grounded, calm, and hopeful when going through their trials, testing, and tribulations because they know that the Almighty is the season changer and no season will last forever.
