As an author, having a website is an important aspect of establishing an online presence. It is one of the best investments for authorpreneurs. Creating a website takes time because you have to supply your designer with all the details necessary for its development, to include but not limited to: brand colours, logo, your biography, content, graphics, just to name a few.   Your website is one of your marketing tools that represent your brand, magnitude of work and your major accomplishments. A sloppy looking, confusing  and disorganized website typically sends the message of the type of work or services you offer. When preparing to design and develop your website, it takes quality time, a budget, content and constant liaising on with your website designer.  From start to finish you have to be intentional about the purpose of your website, your ideal audience,  hence when designing and furnishing your website with content you need to have constant dialogue with your website designer.
